How To Write A Book
I've often wondered how best to explain to myself how to write a book in a visual simplicity. And then I can across this nifty little drawing from the book: "Show Your Work," by Austin Kleon.
Over the last few years, I've been focusing on metaphors and symbolism to understand my stories and my writing. How symbols and metaphors are 'much quicker,' or actually how they can explain things/stories with much more ease and non-intrusiveness to the listener/reader/audience. And this little drawing says more than a 'thousand words,' so I'll share this image and hashtag it with a modest 'yey!' - because yet again, the image is mightier than many books in explaining how to write one.
