★★★★ “Olaf demystifies the process of presenting your film to investors in an inviting way that makes you say, I can do that! Olaf lays out the fundamental steps to getting support for your film with clear examples and materials, an explanation of why each step is important, and actual techniques to use. The practice exercises were useful. I came away understanding the tools needed to go from an idea in my head to a pitch that could inspire funders to support my project. It's a practical step-by-step approach that I can actually use." - Bob Wolf (review from Skillshare)

- "Thank you Olaf for creating such an engaging class on film proposals. I'm grateful for this information because I rarely hear about how essential they are when needing to attract investors. I feel more confident, knowledgable and prepared. I highly recommend this course!" - Daphne Gabriel
- Excellent class, clear and calm and with great examples and structure. Olaf should be a late-night DJ, he's got a great voice ! I recommend this class highly to filmmakers of any level. - Ronald Wright
- It takes a lot to say a little. Maybe that’s why my favorite experience in this class was watching a filmmaker whittle three paragraphs of a long synopsis down to a compelling, four-sentence, short synopsis. A satisfyingly helpful demonstration in a class that’s a breezy, 40-minute cruise through an award-winning filmmaker’s process of developing a film proposal for financing. That’s valuable enough, but I think your expectations will be exceeded with the added value of the detailed downloadable resources and in the confidence you gain when you follow the simple prompts in each video. - Ralston Vaz
- I think that the information presented in this class is much more than meets the eye. Being full of concret examples and step-by-step guided tasks, request some work to be done. In the same time, helped me to discovery some important parts for my own film projects. - "Olaf is a generous teacher who manages to make projects feel human scale, not impossible. He has made an enjoyable (yes really) class about getting ready to submit a film proposal for financing. It is a class which made me think harder and more clearly about my own projects. In conjunction with Olaf's other classes you can learn a huge amount about film. Thanks Olaf" - Ruby
In each lesson, you will be given a short task that will help you practice and apply the concepts you have learned. By completing these tasks and working through the example project, you will gain hands-on experience in creating a Film Proposal and be well-prepared to pitch your own film ideas to investors.
These six key steps mentioned above are the fundamentals. After completing this class, you can also add more elements (character report, world view, backstory, etc.) to your Film Proposal depending on your personal style.
